The swivel tester is used for evaluating the ability of the chair to withstand stresses and wear of repeated swiveling. During the test, the base of chair needs to be restrained on machine’s rotating table and keep the seat and backrest restrained so as to affect the base rotation. 
Then load the mass of 122kg (270lb) on the seat in loading point, rotate the chair at a rate between 5 and 15 rotations per minute and with a rotation of 0°-360° total for 120,000 cycles
